Powerlifting at JP’s Gym
At JP’s Gym we cater for a wide range of training styles, from general fitness and strength training to bodybuilding and performance work.
Over the years we’ve also become well known for having a very large powerlifting section, which has naturally attracted a strong powerlifting community to the gym.
Each year we also host 3–4 national powerlifting competitions, welcoming lifters from across Scotland and the UK through federations such as the SPA and BDFBA.
JP’s Gym
Our main gym floor includes:
• 3 competition power racks
• 3 dedicated deadlift platforms
• 5 powerlifting bars
• 1000kg of competition-spec calibrated plates
This setup allows multiple lifters to train without waiting on racks or platforms.
